Does SizeFold process selected files or a complete folder?
It uses the complete input folder. Every supported top-level image is part of the batch; there is no second file-selection step.

Which source image formats are supported?
SizeFold reads JPG, PNG, HEIC, and TIFF source files and creates JPEG products.
Does it scan nested folders?
No. Only supported images at the top level form the batch, so output and archive subfolders are not pulled back into processing.
Can I use a tethered capture folder?
Yes. Choose the folder where your tethering application writes photos and use it as the SizeFold input folder.
Can I use my existing photo folder as the input folder?
Yes. Point SizeFold at the folder that already receives the shoot, or keep a separate Input folder and copy each batch into it. Both approaches work.
Does the input folder empty itself after a run?
After every source image succeeds, SizeFold writes the outputs and archives the originals, leaving no top-level source images in the Input folder. If a source fails, it stays there for retry.
Processing and output
What one run can produce
How many output configs can run together?
Up to three. Each enabled config can use its own crop, dimensions, color settings, JPEG quality, naming rule, and output folder.
Can the same original create square and vertical versions?
Yes. Each config crops from the original and writes the result to its own destination.
How do product-model filenames work?
Enter the product model once for the current batch. Every output config using Model + number checks its own output folder and continues from the next available number, so an existing file is never replaced.
Does editing change my original?
No. Preview changes are non-destructive, and SizeFold keeps the source file. Processed JPEGs are newly rendered files, so this is not lossless JPEG cropping.
What if I change my camera or lighting?
Adjust the config once for the new camera, lighting, or scene. The config is not locked; later batches reuse the new saved values.
What happens if one required output fails?
Incomplete outputs from that attempt are removed and the original stays in the input folder. It is archived only after every enabled output succeeds.
Privacy and purchase
What the app does not require
Does SizeFold upload images?
No. Crop, color, resize, and JPEG generation run locally on the Mac. The app does not send photos, filenames, or selected folders to SizeFold servers.
Does the app require an account or AI credits?
No. There is no SizeFold account, AI service, or token balance. Purchase and restoration use Apple's StoreKit.
Is SizeFold a subscription?
No. SizeFold is free to download and includes the complete workflow for up to 200 successfully processed source images. Failed source images do not count. Unlimited processing is a $19.99 one-time Mac App Store purchase, with no monthly subscription.
Can I try the complete workflow first?
Yes. The trial includes the complete workflow for up to 200 successfully processed source images. Failed source images do not use the trial allowance. Undoing an eligible trial batch restores the allowance used by that run.
